Hayley Orantia is American actor, musician and singer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". She is primarily the performer. Music was always her first obsession. At the age 12 she was taking serious enough about music to start professional training. When she was 13, she started writing songs. The first time she recorded an album at 14 years old. From then on, she has not ever looked back. Orrantia was born in America but with Hispanic roots. Though she grew up speaking exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she's extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. Her goal is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs and studying the language. She recorded the Spanish version of a track called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for The X Factor's first season, which aired in summer the year 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she was awarded four "yeses", or votes for the judges during The Seattle audition. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female vocalists were placed with three other singers for the last auditions during "Hollywood Week". Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
