Ina-Garten

Ina Gardner is author of many well-known American cooking books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which has been running since 2002. Ina began to write Nuclear energy and policy documents in the White House. While she initially found the work interesting, she soon lost interest. She then bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. She spent eighteen years making the shop extremely popular prior to selling it and grabbing a pen to begin writing her first book. Numerous different cookbooks and magazines were later published. Another hit was the Food Network Television show. The company also offers a wide range of items ranging from cooking materials to storage and equipment. Ina did not go to a cooking institute and hasn't worked in restaurants. She is self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual style of making food and hosting. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet with Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
